  1. Been a huge fan of Jason Belmonte, not only as a bowler but also personality, since I got hooked on the PBA. Congrats on the historic win, Belmonte!!

    1. @C Jun Sen As long as the pins are standing, you have to pick it up. There were instances where the machine recognizes a strike but a pin hit the wall and stood back up. So by the rule, it’s only a 9

    2. Chong Jun Sen what should’ve happened is respotting pins as they were. Butteruff got screwed there and took it on the chin. I have to assume he couldn’t challenge that spot cause it was wayyyy off how he actually left the deck

    3. Zane Ngo That’s happen to me before on a AMF 70 machine I think.
My 7 pins hits something and it replaces the 9 pin (Have no idea how that’s happen) and the machine detects a strike

  2. People can hate on Belmonte all they want but, they can’t deny that he has changed bowling forever and has made history, once again.

    1. Watching belmonte take over bowling and dominating is like watching a transgender dude dominate womens sports. I think hook and rev rate is a big advantage to bowling and they should be separate categories.

    2. @Gage Parra I know, it’s ridiculous. it’s like saying a black quarterback isn’t a real football player.

    1. @Pinoy Bowler Could you say what Randy said that these unique approaches to the lane result in such unique pin carry?

  3. 1:01:55 Jakob Butturff leaves a really unusual 5-6 split. The paralyzing 5 and 6 pins moved off spot.

    1. Why didn’t they move the pins back on the proper spots? Would putting the pins back on their spots go against the rules? At least that bad break didn’t cost him the game.
