Wow, if Prather didn’t get that ring 10 earlier, he might very well have hit 300 for that $1 million bonus. The way he has been coming up huge in big miney tourneys, if anyone was going to collect that $1 million, it would have been him.

Basically, Kris Prather is the Anti-Marshall Kent. When the big lights come on, Marshall turns from one of the most talented players on tour to a guy who always makes a couple of amazingly bad shots. (Trying not to use the word “choke” here). But in the same situation, Prather cranks it up 2 or 3 extra levels until he is as good or better than the best there is. It’s trite, but the the man looks like Clark Kent and bowls like you know who on TV.

holy cow that first game, that’s the lowest score I’ve ever seen on TV by both bowlers (i’m aware of Dougherty’s 100, but I”m talking about from both bowlers). 2015 USBC Masters had the finals score 202-157. That’s how you know conditions are tough, but it looks like they all got better as the game went on.
First game was 187 to 164 for people like me that can’t remember. 🤕
