For a wheelchair bowler you would want to try to accomplish the same thing and get the ball as close to under the shoulder as you can. Normally by angling the chair and leaning over the arm you can accomplish the same fundamentals.
very helpful tip. Let’s me know I’m holding the ball to far to the right in my setup. And that I’m starting my swing with the ball on the outside of my swing path.
Like in golf everyone swing is different. All that matters is where it ends up. I start with the arm straight down by my side and do very well. Average around 210

Usually crossing over the body is related to the swing going around the hips. I would first video and see where the ball path goes offline then work on checking the body alignment and tilt to see how what is causing the ball to get off the line of play.
can you talk about the crossover step? if the ball replaces the leg then the leg must crossover? or, does the hip bend/shoulder tilt care for that (getting the leg out of the way without an intentional crossover step)?
any advice for a wheelchair bowler on this issue? also on how to possibly gain at least 1MPH on ball speed? i currently throw around 10mph. id like to gain just a tad more speed.
You can send us a video to: ktc@kegel.net or share it on something like google drive. We will have one of the coaches look at it and send you some feedback.
Del Warren is awesome! My bucket list is to go to the KTC and take lessons from
Del Warren. There is no better training center. Del Warren too is a great coach.
Is bowling hard??
it requires a tremendous amount of practice to get good, physically at bowling, then at the highest levels it becomes a mental game too.
No, bowling is easy. Bowling WELL is hard.
Hooking the ball and striking is hard. I throw straight and average a 150. Getting more than 150 requires almost all spares or a streak of strikes
@Tom Donnelly I agree
@Tom Donnelly very wise sir.
would this be the same for someone bowling from a wheelchair?

How do you do on sport or PBA patterns?
My bowling game average score is 140 with gutter block thing and my bowling game average score is 108 without gutter block thing.
@Michael Altman I am 64. I bowl once a week on a Senior league. I do not even know what pattern they use for us.
You could of been a contender if you just listened 😢

Need a 5 step approach armswing video please

You definitely need the crossover steps. This is how you want to create the slot for the ball to stay on the line of play.
Thank you
