So if I am gonna clean my ball at home……just using a bucket of hot water will it work the same or is it a bad idea to do at home?
You can use that method, just tape up the holes the best you can and you might need to soak it more than once if it’s been a while since it was cleaned last.
Yang Thao I started using my dishwasher on regular cycle, no heat dry. Face the holes down and you can tape holes also. 30 minutes in dishwasher should remove all the oil.
Another way to get the oil out is I place the ball on a towel, put card board box over the top, stick in a digital thermometer, cut a hole for a hairdryer and also a vent flap (easy way to adjust temp).warm it up to 120 degrees. let it run for about 30 minutes. open the box and wipe the oil off and repeat. doing this for 3 years now
All I got outta that video was soap and water? Hmm…
Hate to say it.. but I use dishwasher. Oh all most forgot, ya don’t want that ball to last forever, nothing like a new toy every now and then.
Are you a ball manufacturer plant?🤣
waste of time and hot water. I used a box, hair dryer and digital thermometer. cut a vent in the box after ball is sealed inside, hole for hair dryer. little practice you get the vent set just right and heat it to 120 for about 40 minutes. plenty of oil will come out. been doing this for 2 years

I have a 40+ year old urethane hammer 1 st generation. Never cleaned it . Just wiped oil after each shot. Would you recommend deep cleaning it?
